All the things that YOU can do – An expedition into the world of activities
Where wood shavings fall and where you juggle with words. Where your music plays and where you do something good for others – this is where your personal journey begins.
Take your own measurements, let fluffy feathers fly, find out how to help the croaking raven or how to break a difficult code.
Figure out where you feel most comfortable …
… maybe in the carpenter’s workshop, where you work with your hands
… at a place, where you look after others or others care for you
… perhaps where words are hiding and where you can discover or invent your own language
… or in the room of creativity, where your imagination runs wild?
Discover what YOU are able to do. Listen to yourself and to what your inner voice is telling you, in order to experience what each activity feels like. The different hands-on stations guide you through the vast country of possibilities.
With an emphasis on four topics the exhibition’s main focus is on intuitively trying things out and working playfully. Whether something comes to you easily, is especially satisfying or you are passionate about – your abilities link to your life in general. They might lead to an honorary position, a fulfilling hobby or even a paid job – an activity that makes you feel: ‘I can achieve something’. In cooperating with others, you realise that everybody has their own strengths and that most things work best in a team. The multi-sensory experience is accompanied by creative reflective tasks. The lovingly designed rooms are a playful and stimulating environment for experimenting and for new experiences, no matter what age you are.
The exhibition is suitable for children aged five years and over with parental supervision. There are different levels of difficulty at each station so that everyone can try out exciting activities. There is no upper age limit.
Please note: Children up to the age of 14 can only visit the museum if accompanied by an adult.
Please book a time slot for your visit to the exhibition at weekends, on public holidays and during vacations.

Sustainability
Sustainability is a cross-cutting issue of the exhibition’s conception. Most of the exhibition‘s installations were made from untreated wood in our own workshop. The modular design facilitates uncomplicated repairs and planned additions, as well as the adjustment of the objects for the installation in other buildings.
Since the exhibition will be loaned to other museums, it was designed with longevity in mind. The few basic materials used are robust, recyclable, and reusable. The furniture not made on-site was mainly acquired second-hand. The handouts for visitors are printed on grass paper. The exhibition deliberately minimises the use of
energy- intensive technology.
